Your end device transfers data automatically when you access our website for technical reasons. Apart from any other information you may send to us, the following information is kept on file:

Get Your Guide account


To manage reservations, remember favorites, or examine previous reservations, for instance, you can choose to set up a Get Your Guide customer account. You must do so by giving the following information, which is required:

  • E-mail address
  • Passwords

You can also sign in with a Google, Apple, or Facebook account. In this instance, in order to create a user account for you, we obtain the following personal information from Facebook, Google, or Apple,

  • Name
  • E-mail address
  • Photo (Facebook only)
  • an authentication token

To create and maintain a user account for you, we need the registration information you provided. At this instance, you and we enter into a (free) user agreement, in accordance with which we collect this data (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).

You need to give us these information in order for us to finish the agreement. You are not required to enter into the agreement and thereafter disclose the data, either by contract or by law.

Reviews and ratings

You can review and comment on trips and activities on our website. We might ask you to rate a tour you purchased through our website after you’ve finished it. Of course, providing a rating is entirely optional. We gather the information you provide when you submit a rating so that we can process it in accordance with the function you use and post it on our website. Whenever you want, you can get a rating removed by getting in touch with our customer support.
